General

What does the guest amenities fee include?

The guest amenities fee is $25 per night plus tax and includes:

  • $10 daily food and beverage credit to be used at JSix, Upper East or for in-room dining
  • Printing & Copying services up to 50 pages Unlimited local and long distance phone calls
  • Yoga classes on the pool deck (select days available)
  • Upgraded WiFi speed throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces for up to 5 devices (Normally a $14.99 charge.)

How do I view my reservation?

What is check in/check out time?

Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 a.m.

Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?

Solamar is completely non-smoking. A cleaning fee is applied to a room that has been smoked in.

How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?

Wireless internet is available for $12.99 for standard access and $14.99 for fastest access per 24 hours.

Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?

Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and high-speed wired internet access is available in all guestrooms.

Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?

Solamar offers a 24-hour fitness facility located on the fourth floor. Equipment includes elliptical machine, treadmill, a stationary bike and free-weights.

Do you offer bikes for use during my stay?

Yes we do. Get out and explore the city on one of our complimentary hotel bicycles, available for check out through our front desk or guest services staff. We can also recommend some popular bicycle routes as well.

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

Yes, Solamar offers room service for breakfast and dinner provided by our restaurant, Jsix.

Do you have a business center?

We have a 24-hour business facility located on the lobby level.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, a heated outdoor pool is located on the fourth floor. The pool is open daily from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Do you have a spa? What are the hours?

We do not have an on-site spa facility available. In-room massage services may be arranged through the concierge, or you may visit our In Room Spa page for more information.

Transportation/Directions

How do I get to the Hotel?

You may find directions to the hotel on our Maps & Directions page.

Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?

We do not offer shuttle services to or from the airport but our concierge can make arrangements for you.

What are your cross streets?

We are located on the corner of J Street & 6th street.

Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?

Valet parking is $49/night, and $34 per night for hybrid vehicles. Valet parking fees are subject to change.

Reservations

How do I view my reservation?

Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?

Rollaway beds are based on availability for $20/night. Please be aware that some rooms do not allow rollaway beds. Cribs and playards are available at no charge.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

Please contact the website with which you made your reservation.

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?

Cancellations or modifications must occur at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date, by 3 pm local hotel time, to avoid a one night's room and tax charge to your credit card. Once you are checked into your room, you are fully responsible for all nights' room and tax.

What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?

Guests must be 21 years or older to stay at Solamar.

Is my ID/passport required at check in?

We do require a photo ID at the time of check in for all reservations.

Do you have connecting rooms?

We do have a limited number of connecting rooms on property. This is on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed.

Do you have accessible Rooms?

Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bathtubs with bars and added facility, and some include a roll-in shower. For more information on the accessible features of our hotel, click here.

Do you have an early departure fee?

An early departure fee of up to one night's room and tax may apply on all reservations.

Accounting

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?

We accept all Major Credit Cards. Cash and Travelers checks may be used for payment upon check out.

Pets

Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?

Pets are welcome at Solamar with no restriction on types or size. Pet owners will be asked to fill out a waiver form accepting responsibility for any damage or cleaning charges that may occur while at the hotel.

Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?

We do offer pet free rooms.

Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?

Pet-sitting and dog walking services are available for a fee through our Concierge. Please contact the concierge in advance for these services.

How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?

You'll find a grass parkway right outside of our front entry.
