We're passionate about food. You see it within moments of arriving at Jsix, the seasonal American restaurant adjacent to Hotel Solamar in San Diego. In our bustling open kitchen, grass-fed beef steaks sizzle on the grill and fresh seared butterfish is artfully lain on plates. And consider the service: Our waitstaff is always there with a perfect wine pairing and knowledge of where our food comes from (some of the herbs are even grown upstairs on the hotel's rooftop terrace). And then there's Chef Christian Graves, who honed his craft in some of San Francisco's finest restaurants (Aqua, MoMo's, Roti, One Market, Farallon).
In each of Christian's dishes, seasonal and sustainable ingredients come together in unexpected, delicious ways. From house-cured charcuterie to homemade mustard, and smoky braised octopus to fresh-from-the-oven breads, this is a dining experience you won't soon forget.
Stop in for a light bite while you tour Gaslamp District, which is just beyond our doors. Charge up for a game at Petco Park with inspired small bites.
